Cleantech Open is the oldest and largest cleantech startup accelerator program, with the mission to find, fund, and foster entrepreneurs with ideas for solving our greatest environmental and energy challenges. The Cleantech Open provides start-ups with the resources to develop, validate, and launch successful companies in the clean technology and sustainability sectors. Our accelerator program provides participants with training, mentoring, infrastructure, relationships and funding opportunities to help transform innovative ideas into high-caliber companies.

Through the Cleantech Open's annual business accelerator program, we connect cleantech startups with the people and resources that will accelerate their success and provide a national platform for public visibility. Since starting in 2006, Cleantech Open has accelerated more than 1300 startups to attract over $1.2 billion in external capital, creating thousands of jobs. The Midwest region has produced ten National award winners, with one or more category leader every year since starting in 2010.
