The Genesis Business Centers Program is designed to help high tech entrepreneurs and inventors to successfully commercialize their technology/service or monetize their intellectual property through licensing and/or joint venture agreements. Successful Genesis client companies include Cima Nanotech, Cymbet, Excorp Medical, LIDCO’s MedTextra™division, NT International, Skyweb Express, SurVivaLink, and Zivix. The Genesis program, established in 1993, has helped many companies to gain access to capital markets and establish strategic relationships throughout the world with particular emphasis in Sweden and in Israel. Harlan Jacobs, Genesis’ chief principal, was the CFO of FilmTec Corporation, a Minnesota start up company (1977) that was sold to Dow Chemical in 1985.
